Kitty’s dinner comic
Kitty’s dinner is a comic book style storyboard that I did for a competition. It was really refreshing to be able to see the project through from start to finish. Lots of fun was definitely had on this one, especially designing the characters.

Awakening spell animatic
The above image is taken from an animatic that I was asked to put together to see whether an animation of the intended story fitted well together before going in and animating the whole thing in detail.
Illustrator definitely got a decent hammering for this project, the amount of vector artwork that was needed to create the animatic was just crazy. I hugely enjoyed working on this intense little project. As you can tell the designs are pretty much black and white with elements of colour used only to emphasise important happenings in the story.

Hello monsters card
The design above was a mini self project that I did to let off a little creative steam. The design was created to use for cards to send off to family and friends just to update them with recent goings on or just an excuse to get creative really. This card design was also the inspiration for my current website design as you might be able to tell by the colours and the crazy little characters scattered about. I do enjoy playing with vectors. :)

Lady and the Koi
This odd sized image is actually a crop from a much larger image. I wanted to try my hand at digital painting. It was a great deal of fun to do, I cut my little project short and kept this as an example. On another note, I now own a much more comfortable Wacom pen so I’m hoping to get down to another little digi painting at some point, which means I won’t be crippled when painting lots of tiny brush strokes for long periods of time.
